Applies when: City Union Bank Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) account only. ATM card or ATM-cum-Debit card is provided on request; the current service-charge schedule says no annual fee is levied at issuance or renewal. This zero rule is not generalized to ordinary savings debit cards.
Why it happened
A new or replacement debit card was issued on your account.
How to avoid it
Ask whether a free or virtual card variant is available on your account type. Some banks waive this on salary and premium accounts.
